Internship: Doris S. Michaels Literary Agency

The Doris S. Michaels Literary Agency, Inc. is seeking an intern. The internship entails a great deal of reading and evaluating query letters, proposals, and manuscripts. Sometimes line editing for typos and grammatical errors, and sometimes editing for content. Interns can become heavily involved with the submissions process by learning how to do everything from writing the submissions letters to preparing and sending out the packages. There is also a lot of general office work involved including filing, copying, faxing, answering the phone, etc. Applicants should be able to commit at a minimum of 10 hours a week.

The internship is not a paid position.  However, if eligible, they can receive credits towards their degree.

If students are interested in the internship, they should send a cover letter and resume to Professor Jane Denning at
