The Deadline for the Edgell & Littleford Scholarship has been extended to FEBRUARY 20

Every year, the Business Press Educational Foundation (BPEF) awards the Robert L. Edgell Scholarship and the William Littleford Scholarship to two students from Pace University’s M.S. in Publishing program who demonstrate an understanding of—and interest in—the business-to-business (B2B) media industry.

These scholarships are $1000 each, paid directly to selected students at the Spring M.S. in Publishing Advisory Board meeting on March 8, 2018.

The 2018 Edgell and Littleford Scholarships, granted by Connectiv, is a wonderful opportunity to explore B2B publishing and think about how publishing skills can apply across industries.

To apply, interested students must submit their application to Professor Denning (jdenning@pace.edu) at 551 Fifth Avenue, Room 805F, no later than 5pm on February 20, 2018.

William Littleford Scholarship

Jenna Vaccaro is the recipient of the William Littleford Scholarship, an award given to scholars interested in magazine publishing. Jenna is so thrilled to be honored with this prize, and will use it to promote her publishing career further. William Littleford (August 4, 1914-May 14 2008) was the chairman of Billboard Publications, and the magazine grew remarkably under his tenure. He served as chairman of the American Business Media and established the William D. Littleford Awards for Corporate Communications. Mr. Littleford had also done extensive environmental conservation in Puerto Rico. Jenna thanks all those who have helped her to achieve her goals, and especially the American Business Media for providing her with this opportunity. As a music lover, she couldn’t be more thrilled with the nature of this award. Click here to read Jenna’s speech thanking the BPEF.
