The Women’s National Book Association worked together with Pace University to arrange and present “The Power of Poetry in a Complex World” on November 9th of this year.
Contemporary female poets Camille Rankine, Deborah Poe, Ellease Ebele Oseye, Mellissa Studdard, and moderator Amy King read their poems and shared insight to the meaning of their work in the current tumultuous social and political climates.
MS in Pace Publishing Program Alumni and current WNBA-NYC Chapter President Hannah Bennett attended the reading and wrote a lovely reflection of the event on the WNBA website.
The Women’s National Book Association is hosting a reading event, “The Power of Poetry in a Complex World.” It will be held Wednesday, November 9th at 6:00 PM at One Pace Plaza. This is a great opportunity for publishing students to support poets and be involved with the messages these scholars and artists are sharing. There is no admission fee.
