The Women’s National Book Association is hosting a panel discussion exploring various relationships between publishing and politics. Moderated by Kendra Levin, the executive editor at Viking Children’s Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House, the talk will circulate around topics from the promotion of books that promote activism to balancing customer demands with political beliefs.
The panelists featured at this event include Marissa Baker, the national account manager at Perseus Distribution; Gabriella Doob, the associate editor at Ecco, an imprint of HarperCollins; and Cathy O’Neil, the author of Weapons of Math Destruction an a contributor at Bloomberg Media.
